Planned activities

Awareness about climate change, the use of water resources, waste disposal, knowledge of renewable and sustainable energy sources for the planet, the importance of recycling and reuse. Teamwork, also thanks to digital resources, to increase awareness of a “useful” use of technology. Development of peer-to-peer communication among children in the European community through the English language and enhancement of pupils’ socio – emotional skills

Attività previste
Consapevolezza sui cambiamenti climatici, sull’utilizzo delle risorse idriche, dello smaltimento dei rifiuti, conoscenza delle fonti di energie rinnovabili e sostenibili per il Pianeta, l’importanza del riciclo e del riutilizzo. Lavoro di squadra, grazie anche alle risorse digitali, per incrementare la consapevolezza di un utilizzo “utile” della tecnologia. Sviluppo della comunicazione tra pari, tra bambini della comunità europea tramite la lingua inglese e incremento delle abilità socio – emozionali degli alunni.

November: “Getting to Know each other”
Novembre: “Conosciamoci gli uni con gli altri”.

Each student will make a drawing in which he will portray himself as an Eco – Hero painting what he most prefers to save and write a few words about himself. 

December: “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”
Dicembre: “Ridurre, Riutilizzare, Riciclare”.

Students will realize Christmas decorations using recyclable materials such as: plastic, paper, wood, cork, cloth and so on.

January:  “Save Water & Energy”.
Gennaio: “Risparmiare acqua ed energia

Children have to make a PPT presentation, on this subject.

I bambini realizzano una presentazione in “Power Point” su questo tema.

February: “Nature and Biodiversity”

• Training objectives and expected skills

  The project will guide students from 7 to 12 years old, from different countries belonging to the European Community to explore topics of environmental sustainability in an age-appropriate way and involving them in a captivating way.

  Through collaborative activities, students will become "Little Eco - Heroes", expressing their ideas, realizing the challenges in the defense of the environment in different countries and performing simple actions to help the planet.

• Il progetto guiderà gli studenti dai 7 ai 12 anni, di differenti Paesi appartenenti alla Comunità Europea a esplorare argomenti di sostenibilità ambientale in maniera adeguata all’età degli studenti, coinvolgendoli altresì in modo accattivante.
  Attraverso  attività collaborative, gli studenti diventeranno “Piccoli Eco – Eroi”, manifestando le loro idee, rendendosi conto delle sfide in difesa dell’ambiente nei differenti Paesi e compiendo semplici azioni per aiutare il Pianeta.
